About
Purpose
The primary purpose of this club is to raise awareness of accounting professions and to support students who are interested in pursuing any of the three accounting designations (CGA, CMA, CA). We are committed to helping University of Guelph students excel in the accounting subject area by offering tutoring and exam bank services, as well as various professional events, activities, and information sessions that will benefit students.
The Accounting Society of Guelph will work to raise recognition among accounting firms and gain a professional reputation for our school and members.
Identity
The Accounting Society of Guelph is a collection of students all sharing an interest in the field of accounting who strive to educate themselves about its prospects as a profession, benefit from its services to support accounting education, to connect themselves to the industry; and to provide a link between University Administration, Faculty, and members needing information regarding accounting education.

The Accounting Society of Guelph will incorporate the values of due care to our members, efficiency, professionalism, and respect to others in all that we do.
Vision
The Accounting Society of Guelph will be a model organization for its members by providing useful and relevant services to facilitate education in accounting, representation of the industry through events and materials, and enhance the image of our school in industry.
Missions
1. We are a student run society that encourages and facilitates the pursuit of accounting among our members.
2. To serve the best interests of the membership by operating effectively in areas significant to their interest in accounting.
3. To facilitate the leadership development and skills development of our members and other volunteers by providing opportunities for them to improve the organization by getting involved.
The Accounting Society of Guelph is a member of the University of Guelph’s College of Management and Economics Student Association (CMESA).
